Even big stars need to stand in front of the director and audition for their roles, and some of the best screen tests are from the early years of legends. See some of Hollywood's top names and greatest talents in their very first appearances on celluloid. From Dustin Hoffman's 1966 stock and personality tests to Raquel Welch and James Coburn cavorting for Our Man Flint, from The Three Stooges to Rock Hudson, see stars trying to get on film.

The films were made between 1964 and 1966 at Warhol's Factory studio in New York City. Subjects were captured in stark relief by a strong key light, and filmed by Warhol with his stationary 16mm Bolex camera on silent, black and white, 100-foot rolls of film at 24 frames per second. The resulting two-and-a-half-minute film reels were then screened in 'slow motion' at 16 frames per second.

Between 1964 and 1966, Andy Warhol shot nearly 500 Screen Tests, beautiful and revealing portraits of hundreds of different individuals, from Warhol superstars and celebrities to friends or anyone he thought had "star potential". All visitors to his studio, the Factory. Subjects were captured in stark relief by a strong keylight, and filmed by Warhol with his stationary 16mm Bolex camera on silent, black and white, 100-foot rolls of film. The resulting two-and-a-half-minute film reels were then screened in slow motion, resulting in a fascinating collection of four-minute masterpieces that startle and entrance, mesmerizing in the purest sense of the word. Songwriters Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, formerly of the band Luna and currently recording as Dean & Britta, incorporated original compositions as well as cover songs to create new soundtracks for the 13 films.

Short documentary featuring the special effects test footage of blasts and explosions used for the James Bond movie "Diamonds are Forever".

Short stories shot by four different directors on 8 mm film. The first story by Dmitry Ryabikov is a real field test for a feature which was done as experimental film about the Creation of the World. The second story is an action short by Dorji Galsanov about problems and understanding between two friends. The third one from Anton Bilzho, a teaser for upcoming thriller, is about love to invisible creature. And the fourth story by Anton Sokolov is about love to aliens - a logical final of all parts.

Ultimate nice guy Jeff doesn't have the time to worry about the world crumbling down around him. His slacker roommates seem to always need his help: Chad, the wannabe entrepreneur; Veronica, the self-centered princess; and Chlora, the hapless Hollywood dreamer. Jeff does his best to keep a roof over their heads, oblivious to the zombie hordes, nuclear explosions, and other disasters along the way. At least he can count on Walter, the macho militiaman who's been preparing for Armageddon for years, and Synthia, the beautiful android whose mission is to protect Jeff and save humanity in the process.

Two contestants play tic-tac-toe to win money and prizes. The "board" for the game is a vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The celebrities are asked questions and the contestants judge the legitimacy of their answers to win the game.
